On its beautifully landscaped 30 acre campus located in the heart of Fort Myers, Fort Myers Technical College provides students with industry-standard technology and equipment in all classrooms and labs. FMTC provides an education that enables students to become productive members of the workforce and community. Their instructors are licensed and certified teaching professionals. Their employer-driven career education is sought after by students in need of job training or looking to enhance their skills for career advancement. Students train for secure, high-paying careers and nationally-recognized industry certifications. A typical full-time day for a workforce education adult student is six hours per day, thirty hours per week. The educational delivery systems utilized at FMTC include traditional classroom settings, lecture, multimedia presentations, hands-on practice in labs, distance learning, clinical training, internships/co-op, and continuing education courses. Classes are only available on campus. Financial aid is available to those who qualify.
