This comprehensive welding program is designed to train master welders who want to be skilled in all four processes: GMAW, SMAW, FCAW and GTAW. Consisting of our entire 900 hour program, plus 400 hours focusing on welding specialty metals like stainless steel and aluminum, it provides hands-on training on plate and pipe.
Upon completion, you can earn three AWS certifications in GMAW/FCAW on 3g plate, SMAW/GTAW on 3g plate, and SMAW/GTAW on pipe.
This course is designed for experienced welders looking to improve their pipe welding skills. It consists of 114.5 welding lab and 5.5 classroom hours. Students are required to pass a 3G and 4G SMAW or GTAW plate welder qualification test to start this program. Upon completion of this course, students should be able to pass a typical pipe welding qualification test using the GTAW and/or the SMAW processes and be eligible to start work in the construction or industrial field.
This course has options for both beginners and welders with some experience. Beginners may elect to take only the GMAW/FCAW program. Experienced welders can choose one of three welding process concentrations: SMAW, GMAW/FCAW or GTAW. The GTAW course can be taken as a pipe welding course.
Students enrolling in the SMAW or GTAW structural welding concentration must have and demonstrate their welding experience by passing a 3G and 4G welder qualification test in a process of their choice before starting class. Students enrolling in the GTAW pipe welding concentration must pass a GTAW welder test on plate.
This program is the perfect way to launch your career. A great way to get trained for structural welding in construction or industrial settings, this course is designed for beginners and welders with some experience, you’ll learn GMAW, FCAW and SMAW processes. After 345 welding lab hours and 55 classroom hours, you should be ready to start an entry-level welding position.
This extensive structural and pipe welding training course is perfect for both beginners and welders with some experience. Our hands-on training accounts for over 90% of this program and will allow you to develop and advance your craft in GMAW, SMAW, FCAW and GTAW.
